Our tip: Wake up early, when the narrow streets still reflect the cool morning light and the shores are empty, or stroll in the evening, when the dry-stone walls release the heat of the day. Lose yourself in the cobbled alleys and stop to listen to the sound of the lake lapping against the docks.
A local ritual: Every Thursday morning, the streets of Bardolino come alive with the traditional local market. It is the perfect time to experience authentic village life, wandering among stalls filled with local delicacies and tasting the genuine flavors of our region.
Hills and flavors: Where our olive oil is born
Behind our Relais stretches a natural amphitheater of morainic hills. Walking here, among the Bardolino vineyards and ancient olive groves—the very ones from which we carefully produce our extra virgin olive oil—is true therapy for the soul. You don’t need a set destination: just put on comfortable shoes and let yourself be guided by the dirt paths that suddenly open up to breathtaking views of the lake.
The Rivalunga Promenade and the beaches
If you are looking for a deep connection with the water, the white pebble beach is waiting for you. You can reach it on foot from Casaliva through the woods (a wonderful, restoring half-hour walk) or in a few minutes by car. From there runs the Passeggiata Rivalunga, a pedestrian and cycle path connecting Bardolino to Garda: ideal for a lazy walk, a refreshing dip, or simply sitting under the shade of a tree, watching the boats in the distance.
